From the novels To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and Heated Rivalry to Laufey’s latest music video for “Madwoman,” mixed race Asians (with one white parent) have catapulted into the spotlight.

Author and scholar Addie Tsai will explore the complexities surrounding mixed Asian representation, both in literature and in popular culture, by reading Anna Storti’s TORN: Asian/white Life and the Intimacy of Violence. 

For the month of May, Tsai invites you to join them in reading a chapter a week, culminating in a book club with Storti on June 11 at 7:00 p.m. EST.
