We founded Soapberry Review in 2022 after we noticed a dearth of reviews engaging with Asian American literature in all of its complex, thorny, and multifarious contexts. This journal attempts to fill in that gap. We publish reviews of Asian American literature and interviews with contemporary Asian American authors.
We’re committed to representing all of Asia, and we’ve reflected this in the name of our journal: a genus whose resilient fruits span across all of Asia.
