Soapberry Review welcomes submissions from all writers. We are looking for book reviews, essays, and author interviews related to Asian American literature.
We are interested in reviews of fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, and poetry. We do not accept submissions on self-published works.

Book Reviews
We are looking for reviews of books published by Asian American authors in the last three years. A good book review provides a quick outline, opinion, and recommendation without giving away the plot. Word count: 300-1,200 words
Critical Essays
For any book older than three years, we prefer essays. Essays can range from close reading to explanations of the text’s relevance to today’s issues, themes, and more.
Word count: 500-1,500 words
Author Interviews
We are interested in interviews with authors who identify as Asian American. We would require that you put us in touch with the author, so we can make sure the Q&A is approved by the author before publication.
